This program is a chill and relaxed walking tour of Oslo with a big side of fancy snacking designed for those who enjoy the wonders of unplanned, planned tours. Come prepared with comfortable shoes and casual clothing as we’ll be covering the best parts of Oslo by foot. Halfway through the tour we will catch a bus to the other side of the city in search for the next perfect food location. The tour will last around 4 to 5 hours with a starting time no later than 13.00 o’clock.
We’ll be stopping at four to five different locations, depending on your selected tour option, and tasting food at each, including fish, cheese, cured meat, seasonal traditional Norwegian dishes, waffles with brown cheese, and marzipan cakes. With this tour you are guaranteed a great experience and key highlights of the city center as well as a glimpse of some of Oslo’s best local neighborhoods. The tour will also include the guide’s insights on the local food scene, culture and history, as well as access to their personal favorite spots and activities to do in the city.
The tour will conclude in Grünerløkka, a hip and trendy Oslo neighborhood that is famous for its boutiques, bars and restaurants. You can choose to continue on here with some personal recommendations from the tour guide or head back towards the city center after a full day of great food and fun!
